This article will demonstrate troubleshooting tips post setup of Forte payment terminals.

CivicPlus team members will help troubleshoot issues with API connectivity and API errors. However, CivicPlus Support is not permitted to troubleshoot terminal errors from your payment terminal. Those errors should be reported to your IT department, Forte, or hardware manufacturer.
Prerequisites
Before following the steps in this guide, please complete the setup process.
Run the Device Driver as an Administrator
- You can re-run the installation file as an administrator
- It will ask you if you want to set up the eDynamo, select Yes
- Select Next
- If you have already installed the drivers you should be prompted with the following, select Modify
- Select Next
- Select Install
- Run a test transaction, you should see a screen similar to the following
Note: If you are still not prompted to interact with the payment terminal, reach out to your IT department or Forte for further assistance.
