HCMS Content Mapping

Who can use this feature?

Organization Owners / Group Owners

This article will show you how to import HCMS content.

  1. Navigate to the HCMS Content Mapping tab

  2. Upload a csv, ics, or json file in Click or drag to add file...

  3. Select a Template or an HCMS Content Type

    • Note: The list of available templates in the dropdown will be filtered to only include those that match the file type of the uploaded file. If desired, you can change the Permission Set, Categories, Tags, and mapped fields from the template for a one-time import. Making these changes will not update the template.

  4. Select a Permission Set
    • Note: Permission Sets populate from the associated HCMS app. Changing the Permission Set will not update the Template.

  5. Map fields from the uploaded file (displayed on the left of the screen) to the selected Content Type Fields (displayed on the right of the screen). This can be done in two ways by:
    • Dragging and dropping the field on the left into a content type field on the right

    • Selecting the field from the uploaded file in the drop-down for the selected Content Type field.

    • Note: To see an example for the uploaded file field, just hover over the icon to the left of the chip.

    • Note: If any mapped fields from the template are not available in the uploaded file, you will not be able to import content (i.e. if the template has a field for phone number to be mapped, but the uploaded file does not include a phone number field, the save function will be disabled).

  6. Select relevant Categories
    • Note: Categories populate from the associated HCMS app. Changing the Category will not update the Template.

  7. Type out and add Tags
    • Note: Adding Tags will not update the Template.

  8. Click Save and Publish
