In Integration Hub, triggers and actions are different parts of your integration. Triggers are the product/application where the integration initiates. When something happens in your trigger product/application, Integration Hub will then facilitate the integration. Actions are the product/application affected by the integration’s action.
Here’s an example: Let’s say I had a simple integration set up between my CivicEngage website and CivicReady. This integration is configured so that when a user activates the Alert Center banner, a notification is sent through CivicReady. In this example, CivicEngage is the Trigger and CivicReady is the Action.
