CivicEngage Integration Hub Category Settings

Overview

To ensure that your CivicEngage website content managers are aware and in control of integrations pulling from your site, settings are available to control whether your module category updates will send to Integration Hub.

To enable Integration Hub updates for a module category from your CivicEngage site, please follow the steps below.

 

Important Note 

Integration Hub’s ability to make changes to or receive items from your site will be based on the API user’s permissions. If updating Integration Hub is enabled for a Category without Guest permissions, items within it will still be sent to other integrated products if the API user credentials have access.

 

Instructions

Alert Center

  1. Open the Alert Center Category that you want to send updates
  2. In the Category Properties tab, scroll to the bottom of Properties and check Update Integration Hub

Calendar

  1. Open the Calendar Category that you want to send updates
  2. In the Category Properties tab, scroll to the bottom of Properties and select Yes for Update Integration Hub

Document Center

  1. Open the Document Center Folder that you want to send updates
  2. In the Folder Properties tab, scroll to the bottom of Properties and check Update Integration Hub

News Flash

  1. Open Properties for News Flash Category that you want to send updates
  2. In the Category Properties tab, scroll to the bottom of and select Yes for Update Integration Hub

Notify Me

Since Notify Me subscribers could be from any integrated module category, this module must be enabled for all subscribers for your site. Enabling these integrations will send all new Alert Center, Blog, Calendar, News Flash, and Notify Me subscribers' first name, last name, email address, and SMS number, if applicable, to Integration Hub to allow integrations. This will allow the automatic sharing of subscriber personally identifiable information from selected categories with another product, so consider all applicable laws around sending communication when setting up integrations.
