Integration Hub can be used to create efficiencies for your organization if you only have a single CivicEngage website.
A great use case is adding an Alert Center item to your site. If you currently follow this up with a News Flash item containing much of the same information, you can automatically use Integration Hub to build that follow-up item. Saving you time and preventing duplicate work!
With this integration, any time you create an Alert Center item in the Urgent Notices category, it will also create a News Flash item in the Public Safety News category.
If you don’t always want that item to be published, you can specify on Step 2 that you always want these items to be created as a Draft.
If you only want the News Flash item created if certain conditions are met you can use an advanced integration with one or more conditionals. This could be used if, for example, you only want the News Flash item to be created if the Name of the Alert Center item contains the word “emergency”.
